I am plunging for the Greater Merrimack Special Needs Youth Group aka "Merrimack Friars".  They provide services and assistance for members in Merrimack, Milford, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, and Nashua. The group participates in Special Olympics (SO) activities throughoutt the year as well as running a social event each month from September thru June.  On fixed incomes most have to choose between food, medicine and other necessities.  This group subsidizes fees associated with participating in Special Olympics enabling members to participate in Special Olympics as well as other social activities.

 

Welcome to the Merrimack Friars

The Merrimack Friars Club is a non-profit social service organization dedicated to serving the local community of youth and adults with special needs through organized sports, activity, nutrition and fitness.

The Friars organization takes pride in offering extracurricular opportunities for youth with special needs to develop social skills.  These opportunities helps establish a set of values while teaching them leadership, good sportsmanship and conflict resolution skills through sports.

Friars Club instruction and guidance builds healthy bodies, minds and spirit by bolstering self-esteem and self-discipline, and reinforcing positive behavior.

The Merrimack Friars is here for youth of special needs while at the same time we are in need as well.  Your donation(s) help us accomplish what we are doing and want to do in the future.  Please help if you can.
